The Crazy Colorado Knitter -- she knits, she purls, she spins, she weaves...
Yay Christy! It actually looks a lot like my first hand spun skein. Mine was from a Jacob sheep and the same colors, what wool is that you've used?BTW mine became a pair of socks that I wore and wore and wore for years.... whitestarsams.blogspot.com
That skein looks delicious! Very nice work for your first one. It looks so soft and squishy :)I just washed my pink tipless gloves from your pink dyed wool. Put them in washer and dryer and they came out just gorgeous! the wool washed very well and the color is exactly like before. That's the way I like it!!
Not bad at all, I'd say!
I love that yarn... even (especially) the little snail shells of tightly spun plies. I've been tryin to make snails and can't. Poo. So, whatcha gonna make? Something that shows off it's loveliness, I hope. Maybe a dish or bowl to hold your odds and ends? Yay Christie!!
I think it is beautiful! Thank you for joining my Project - I am so excited to see what amazing creations you come up with ;)
